Inspire: Culture, Learning and Libraries values its staff. As a member of our team, you will have:

24 days’ annual leave per year (pro-rata for part-time staff), rising to 26 days after 5 years of service with Inspire, plus bank holidays

Paid occupational sick pay at the following rates:

Full Pay Half Pay
During Year 1 1 month 1 month
During Year 2 2 months 2 months
Year three and onwards 4 months 4 months

  • Access to a pension scheme through contractual enrolment for permanent/fixed term contracts, with option to join for casual workers:

  1. 8% employer’s contribution to a defined contribution pension scheme (The People’s Pension) for all staff other than music teachers, with a minimum 5.5% employee contribution or
  2. Access to the Teachers’ Pension Scheme for music teaching staff.
