Our online Diploma in Education and Training is designed to allow teachers to develop practical skills which reflect the context in which they teach. It is aimed at those wanting to teach adults in colleges, community settings, or as a volunteer. The requirement is to be observed delivering in the setting, so you must already be teaching. The course is aimed at those teaching 14+ learners.
What will you learn?
Our Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, online course, is a 2-year part-time programme running term-time only.
Year 1 is currently running every Wednesday, 2pm - 6pm and started on 27 January 2021. Year 2 will also run every Wednesdsay 2pm - 6pm, starting 26 January 2022.

You will be required to have a laptop or computer and internet to enable you to access the live classes on Zoom, you will also be required to attend each of the sessions and hold 1:1s with your tutor.
You will have to complete 4 mandatory assignments and up to 6 optional units.

What are the progression opportunities upon completion?
This qualification will allow you to progress to a BA Honors in Education and Qualified Teaching and Learning status.
