We're always looking to improve your experience. Please Email us your feedback.
Our Community and Family Learning courses are for everyone aged 19+ and the great thing is, you don't need any prior skills or qualifications to sign up. Our brand new summer programme of courses for 2022 is out now, packed with low cost and free learning opportunities at libraries across Nottinghamshire, and online.
Courses are low cost or free if you're in receipt of eligible benefits.
You can learn something new, explore hobbies and new interests while making new friends, and we can help you learn techniques to better manage your life, or mental and physical health.
You can even spend quality time with the family and have fun learning something new together with our fun and free family learning courses.
If you're aged 16 or over, unemployed or looking for a career change, you may be eligible for free personalised support with no impact on benefits. We have a team of expert advisors who can help you with job searches, benefits claims, CVs, job applications, interview skills, volunteering, work placement opportunites, and more!
Get help into training and employment.
Boost your skills, CV and job prospects with our Functional Skills courses in maths and English, or our Essential Digital Skills Qualification - these courses are free if you don't already have a qualification.
Our ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses are for anyone whose first language is not English to develop reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
We also have a range of Level 1 and 2 accredited courses that are fully or part funded depending on circumstances through the Adult Education Budget (AEB). These courses are recognised by employers and are for anyone wanting to improve their skills and employability.
All our courses are taught by friendly, experienced tutors and we're an Ofsted registered Grade 2 'Good' provider and winner of the 2020 Tes FE Award for Community Learning Provider of the Year - you can be assured of a warm welcome and quality learning experience.
