About this course

To learn what aromatherapy is, covering the history behind it, the modes of use, how to make an oil dilution in creams and lotions. The benefits of aromatherapy - physically, mentally and emotionally. To make a simple blend with a carrier oil and essential oils.


What will learners achieve by the end of the course? 

  • Have an Introductory understanding of what Aromatherapy is and how to use it for self and others. How aromatherapy works, and the effects of essential oils, and where essential oils come from. An understanding of how aromatherapy oils can enhance our personal health and well-being, these benefits can help us physically mentally and emotionally. How to make a simple blend using a carrier oil and essential oils.
What will be covered on the course?   
  • What Aromatherapy is, the background and cultural influences, modes of use, the effects and where essential oils come from. How they can affect us and enhance personal health and well-being. Different methods of extraction. How to make a simple blend with carrier oils. Essential oil dilution in creams and lotions. Top, middle, and base notes will be covered as well as Precautions. 

Learners should bring a drink – water or juice, notebook and pen

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

  • Complete the EVENTBRITE BOOKING.
  • Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

You should be redirected to the Inspire Online Enrolment Form after completing the Eventbrite booking.  If you are not redirected, please use the link supplied in the Eventbrite booking confirmation email.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
