To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been a resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in the UK with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).


A course for beginners, to increase the enjoyment of art, and discover the art history around us. We will look at recognising art ideas and terminology, expressing emotions around art, building confidence to visit exhibitions. 

On this course we will cover:

  • Understanding art objects and ideas 
  • Analysing own responses to art 
  • Curating a brief online exhibition of landscape, portraiture and still life works 

This is an online course. A suitable electronic device such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone with internet access will be required. Learners will be required to download and use Zoom (free software).  You may wish to bring a pen and paper to take notes
