This qualification enables the learner to develop a knowledge and understanding of substance misuse awareness.
This qualification enables the learner to develop a knowledge and understanding of substance misuse awareness - including alcohol - and its potential effects on individuals and others.
You do not need any previous experience or qualifications to join. The qualification may be useful for those studying or working in the following sectors: counselling,
childcare, sport and recreation, community work, youth work, or volunteering.
Learners who achieve this qualification could progress to Level 2 Awards or Diplomas in Health, or Health and Social Care.
1) FREE - if you earn less than £16,009.50 or are on a means-tested benefit.
2) PAYMENT HELP AVAILABLE - if you earn more than £16,009.50 but are on a low-income, we might be able to help pay part or all of your course fees. Email: email@example.com for an application form or if you have any questions.
3) CO-FUNDED - if you are on a higher-income, the government will pay approximately half of your course fees. The cost to you will be £54.00
