An introduction to the ways in which body language communicates people’s attitudes, desires and feelings. Underpinned by scientific studies, this interesting and entertaining online course will teach learners how to ‘read people’, and show them how to encode their own body language to their advantage.
What will be covered on the course? What will be taught to learners?
The course will look at the influence body language has on perception and communication. Covering first impressions, gestures, micro expressions, gravity-defying behaviours, intention signals, mirroring and matching, barriers and adaptors, the course will look at how people unconsciously leak their true feelings.
What will learners achieve by the end of the course?
The course will provide an understanding of how people unconsciously signal their ‘hidden’ true feelings. Learners will also be empowered with skills to consciously improve their own body language.
Suggested Reading for the course:
‘The Definitive Guide to Body Language’ by Allan Pease and Barbara Pease.
‘What Every Body is Saying’ by Joe Navarro.
‘Peoplewatching’ by Desmond Morris.
