About this course

There are many books that go to the landfill each year, so in this course you will be using some of them to give them a second life (please choose books you do not want to read again and not current library books).

Over the three weeks we will look at and create some projects with old unwanted books and book pages. We will look at Stamping, Decoupage, and sculpture. Also, within the sessions we have time to talk and reflect on crafting with reused items. We also look at making mini-Journals, and some basics of book binding

Within the course learners will gain an understanding of.

  • The need to give items a second life, and benefits of crafting with reclaimed items
  • Different crafting skills
  • Understanding of different glue and how to use the right one for the right project

None of the items are essential but the ones with (*) are recommend to get the best of the course
