To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been a resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in the UK with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).


On this course we will discuss what is meant by British Culture.  We will explore different cultural theories and apply them to the British Culture and discover what part we play in British society.

On this course you will:

  •  Learn different definitions of British Culture  
  •  Understand British Values  
  •  Apply theories to British Culture  
  •  Apply critical thinking strategies  
  •  Look at British culture through Art, Design Fashion.  
  •  Look at British culture through Texts including poems/ stories.  
  •  Look at British Culture through the lens including film 
  •  Look at British Culture through Music  
  •  Look at British Culture through landscapes including famous landmarks 

This is an online course. A suitable electronic device such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone with internet access will be required. Learners will be required to download and use Zoom (free software).  You will also require a pen and paper.
