About this course

Are you a keen crafter and want to try something new?  Maybe you're looking for a new hobby but want to try some different things first before commiting to buying a lot of equipment?  This course will help you by introducing a different technique each week, giving you a taste of different crafts.

Over the course, we will have a go at three different crafts - Origami (Kusudama Flowers), Macramé and Book Folding, looking at the history behind the different crafts and exploring how your newly learned skills could be developed further.  This course is ideal for absolute beginners and those who are new to the outlined crafts

You will need:

Week 1:

  • Origami paper

Week 2:

  • Macrame cord
  • Tape Measure
  • Scissors

Week 3:

  • A hardback book that you will no longer read which has at least 216 pages
