About this course

This course will introduce you to different genres of writing through examining published work and taking part in writing exercises.  Each week, we will explore different genres of writing such as: science fiction, the Wild West, mystery, fantasy and coming-of-age. 


By the end of the course, you will have developed an understanding of the differences and the crossovers of the different genres examined.  You will also have the opportunity to experiment writing in the styles of the different genres.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
