About this course

Learn how to create an assortment of different types of Granny Squares, from an Antique Vintage Square to different patterned Granny Squares, using a crochet hook and yarn/wool. To have knowledge of how to crochet using a variety of yarns/wools and different size hooks, to understanding the different terminologies used for English and American Crochet stitches and Crochet Hook Size Conversion for Metric, US & UK

Creating and performing different designs from a variety of crochet stitches, you will learn how to produce your own creations. Working towards creating a variety of different patterns to crochet Granny Squares using different size crochet hooks and yarns/wools. Learners must have some skills in performing crochet stitches 

What resources/course materials do learners need to bring for the course? 
 A drink – water or juice, notebook and pen, different hook sizes 4/4.5/or 5 and yarn/wool  

Suggested Reading for the course: Granny squares all shapes and sizes by Beatrice Simon & Barbara Wilder 

 By the end of the course learners will show secure knowledge of how to perform a variety of stitches in different ways to create different patterned crochet Granny Squares using crochet hooks and yarns/wools.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
