To learn how to make a Traditional Granny square and/or blanket. You will learn: How to work in a round. How to change colour. How to crochet corners to make a square. How to neaten ends. How to crochet squares together to make a blanket. By the end of the course You will be able to crochet a Traditional Granny Square and be able to crochet them together to make a blanket.

02/07/2020  Live Zoom introduction, initial assessment, tech help for learners and introduction to access Nearpod. Learners will then be able to log into Nearpod and follow the session at their own pace.  

09/07/2020 tutorial support to catch up with learners and offer support.  

16/07/2020 Final session, recap and sharing progress. 

You will need to know how to form the basic crochet stitches (UK terms). A crochet hook (it should recommend a size on the yarn label.)  

A minimum of two different colours of yarn the same thickness. A pair of scissors. A large eyed tapestry needle.
