About this course

This course will provide an insight to the History surrounding Tunisian/Afghan crochet. It will help you gain an insight into the different designs you can produce from forming some basic stitches, you will learn how to produce your own creations. Working towards creating a variety of Tunisian crochet stitches using a crochet hook and yarn, such as the Basic/Full Tunisian crochet, Knit/Purl, Double/Treble, Extended Simple Stitch, Half Double Stitch, Crossed Tunisian Stitch, Tunisian Crochet Simple Stitch to Back Loop and Tunisian Crochet X Stitch, Reverse and Twisted Tunisian Crochet Stitch. 

You will also be able to distinguish difference between American and English crochet stitches, and Tunisian symbols. 


This course is not suitable for beginners.  You must have completed the beginner's crochet course or have previous knowledge and experience of crochet to be able to participate in this course.


Resources required by attendees


You will need a crochet hook either size 4, 4.5 or 5, wool or yarn, a notebook and a pen
