About this course

This course aims to improve your English skills and your confidence in using these. This course is designed for speakers of other languages who want to improve their English and gain a qualification.

Our experienced staff will help you to improve your reading, writing and speaking and listening whilst working in a group.

You will start by doing an initial assessment, in order to decide with your tutor which level you will be working at from Entry level 1 to Entry level 3. You will be assessed near the end of the course on these three elements and once you have completed these you will achieve a City and Guilds ESOL qualification.

This course runs for 37 weeks and requires you attend 2 lessons a week in the library.

All resources that you need will be supplied by the tutor, but you may wish to have your own notebook to work in as well.
