Exploring Occupational Studies Award: Introduction to Health and Social Care (Level 1)

In this unit the learner will understand the duties, procedures, equipment and communication used when working in a care environment.

What will we cover?

We will cover the duties, procedures, equipment and communication used when working in a care environment. Learners will develop a more 'hands on' approach to learning and gain practical skills, knowledge and understanding in their chosen vocational area. 

Who is the course aimed at?

This course is intended to be accessible to a wide range of learners of all abilities. No previous experience or qualifications are necessary. 

How can I progress after completing the course?

Upon completion of the course, you may wish to progress on to other units in the Exploring Occupational Studies qualification.
