About this course

Learners will explore the art of wreath making using garden foliage.  The course is aimed at learners who enjoy being creative and do not need to have any previous experience in flower arranging.  Learners will be given helpful tips and advice on how to prepare plant material for a design. 


What will be covered  

  • Identifying and naming foliage 
  • Creating a fresh wreath 
  • Learn new skills and techniques shown 
  • Wiring skills 
  • Bow making 

What will learners achieve 

  • Identify and name foliage used 
  • Produce a fresh wreath with garden foliage 
  • Create a bow for their design 

You will need:

  • A selection of evergreen garden foliage (carrier bag amount full) 
  • Sharpe scissors  
  • Florist foam ring   
  • Oasis tape  
  • Ribbon, poly or satin  
  • Pine cones.

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

  • Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
