About this course

Discover your creative side through flowers! 


This course is aimed at total beginners as well as learners with previous experience of flower arranging. Each week learners will create an arrangement discovering new styles and techniques, through step-by-step guidance.  


Seasonal flowers and garden foliage will be used where possible. 


What will be covered on the course?  

  • 5 basic floral designs 
  • Wiring Skills 
  • Bow making 
  • Leaf manipulation techniques. 
  • Advice about preparing and conditioning flowers and foliage. 
  • Plant names 
  • Botanical flower names. 

What will learners achieve by the end of the course? What are your learning outcomes? 

  • Produce 5 different floral designs 
  • Identify and name foliage used throughout the course. 
  • Create a bow  
  • List several suitable plants for flower arranging 

You will need:

  • Oasis, flowers, foliage, scissors, florist, anchor tape, oasis fix, wire, ribbon several floral containers all available from amazon, Ebay and the range, plastic table cloth

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
