About this course

This interactive session is suitable for families with children from 3 to 11. 


This course aims to provide a fun filled environment where children and their parents are will use a variety of textiles and techniques to create a Halloween Puppet. 


Ghost, ghoul or monster, the choice is yours! 


In the second session of the course you will devise and perform your very own show with your Halloween puppets 


What will be covered on the course?  What will be taught to learners? 

  • Learners and their families will develop skills in both creative and imaginative play. 
  • Learn how to create characters and devise  ideas for a story that can developed into a performance 
  • Learners will demonstrate skills by sharing and discuss ideas to bring together a collective interactive story 
  • What will learners achieve by the end of the course? 

  • Learners will have created and made their own Halloween puppet and performed their show to the rest of the group. 

What skills or knowledge do learners already need to have to attend the course? 

  • No prior skills required

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

  • Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
