Spray adhesive suitable for fabric (Boyes sell one for about £4). A piece of quilt wadding or cotton bump (both available in Boyes and Hobbycraft or on internet sales sites) large enough to cover both sides of the cardboard triangle. A fat quarter or equivalent size (45cm by 45cm, 18 inches by 18 inches) of quilting fabric (cotton poplin), a piece of toning plain fabric such as lightweight curtain lining fabric large enough to cover one side of the triangle (or a cotton shirt which can no longer be worn but can be used to line the box). Sewing needle, sewing thread in matching colour to quilting fabric, scissors for cutting fabric, 1metre/yard of satin or grossgrain ribbon 1cm (half an inch) wide, to match quilting fabric, 1 button about 2cm (slightly less than one inch) in diameter.
