About this course

A course for adults, new to computing, who would like to use computers more effectively.

What will be covered on the course?

Windows basics, storing and organizing files
Finding information on the internet
Using email
Basics of Microsoft Word

What will learners achieve by the end of the course?

Learners will have greater confidence to explore the online world. They will know how to create and organise files on their computer.

What skills or knowledge do learners already need to have to attend the course?

No previous skills required.

Laptop computers will be provided, but learners are encouraged to bring their own laptop computers to the session if they wish.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
