To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been a resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in the UK with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

An opportunity to learn the basics of the language as well as a bit about the culture to allow you to make the most of a future holiday in Italy. Throughout the course we will practise and apply our knowledge of simple Italian to build confidence in speaking and understanding. There will be a focus on usable phrases, with little bits of grammar introduced where it is helpful.

Greetings and introducing self and others
Travelling and sightseeing in Italy and booking/buying tickets for this.
Food and Drink in Italy and ordering from a menu

What will learners achieve by the end of the course?

Recognize a range of simple phrases and apply them in a range of situations
Interpret simple phrases in Italian
Apply your knowledge of Italian to answer simple questions
Interpret written information and use your own knowledge to express preferences

As this course is online learners will require access to a laptop, smart phone, computer or tablet. The course will be accessed through Zoom. You will also require, note-taking materials and a quiet space.
