Exploring Occupational Studies Level 1 - Caring for Babies & Young Children

What will we cover?

In this unit, the learner will learn about the correct procedures, personal care and how to dress and respond for babies and young children.

Who is the course aimed at?

The qualification is intended to be accessible to a wide range of learners of all abilities. Learners can develop a more ‘hands on’ approach to their learning and gain practical skills, knowledge and understanding in their chosen vocational area.

How can I progress after completing the course?

Upon completion, you may progress on to another unit of Exploring Occupational Studies, or a qualification in Health and Social Care.

Course Cost

1) Free  - if you earn less than £17,374.50 or are on a means-tested benefit.

2) Payment help available - if you earn more than £17,374.50 but are on a low-income, we might be able to help pay part or all of your course fees. Email: learning@inspireculture.org.uk for an application form or if you have any questions.

3) Co-funded - if you are on a higher-income, the government will pay approximately half of your course fees. The cost to you will be £108.00.
