About this course

Macramé is relaxing and therapeutic craft, as it keeps your hands busy and gives your mind time to rest.   You will learn the basic knots needed to get started with macramé and by the end of the course you be able to complete our own project.

There is no previous experience necessary to complete this course just a wiliness to have a try.

Within the course, learners will gain an understanding of the different Macrame knots and be able to apply the techniques to create different pieces including: keyrings, feathers, plant pot hangers and coasters.

What should leaners bring?

  • Macrame cord - 3mm or 5mm is the ideal thickness.
  • Scissors
  • Tape measure
