To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been a resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in the UK with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).


This course is aimed to support parents/grandparents/carers to gain an understanding of mental health, knowledge about different types of mental health issues and to understand a childs needs in relation to supporting this mental health and well being.  You will identify practical ways to support your childs mental health and identify your own outcomes to be covered as part of the course.

What will learners achieve by the end of the course? 

  • Learners will understand what is meant by mental ill health in relation to children / young people. 
  • Learners will know some practical ways to support their children’s mental health and well-being. 
  • Learners will understand the importance of self-care. 
  • Learners will have knowledge of mindful parenting. 
  • Learners will be aware of the barriers to accessing support 

As this course is online learners will require access to a laptop, smart phone, computer or tablet.  The course will be accessed through Zoom. 

You will also require, notebook / paper and pen.
