To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been a resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in the UK with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
Our Map Reading Made Easy online course is suitable for anyone who wants to understand how to read a map and plan a walking route to enjoy the local countryside.

For the course you will need a ruler, a piece of string or wool or a shoelace, a calculator or phone calculator (not essential), pen and paper.
You will need to print a copy of Map Reading Made Easy https://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/documents/resources/map-reading-made-easy.pdf If you don’t have access to a printer don’t worry this workbook can be posted to you.
This is an online course. A suitable electronic device such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone with internet access will be required. Learners will be required to download and use Zoom (free software).
