About this course

Learners will show secure knowledge of what external factors help to promote and make Meditation easier. To be able to show understanding of how breathing techniques can influence Meditation. To be able to apply different Meditation techniques and show an understanding of how to use them in different situations and circumstances, such as preparing your meditation environment, awareness of our imagination and how to improve, covering the many benefits of meditation for our well-being, how to use mantras and affirmations and how beneficial they are, the effects of colour and the role of chakras and how to balance these, and how to release tension. 


What will be covered on the course?   

  • What meditation is and how to practice it – using a variety of “tools” and techniques, covering conducive factors on preparation, our imagination, the benefits of meditation, mantras and affirmations, effects of colour and the role of chakras and how to balance these, how to release tension, and the use of our breath. 

What will learners achieve by the end of the course?  

  • How to meditate and use this anywhere with a variety of “tools”, and how to breathe. Preparing a meditation environment, how to use mantras and affirmations, how to use colour effectively and the role of charkas and how to balance them, ability to release tension and stress, covering the many benefits of meditation for our well-being.  

What learners should bring:

  • A drink – water or juice, a cushion and blanket or wrap, comfortable clothes, notebook and pen

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

  • Complete the EVENTBRITE BOOKING.
  • Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
