This qualification aims to raise awareness of the issues surrounding mental health difficulties and develop learner's knowledge of the rights of those with mental health issues.
This qualification aims to raise awareness of the issues surrounding mental health difficulties, dispel some of the myths and misconceptions frequently linked to mental health, and develop your knowledge of the rights of those with mental health difficulties.
The course is appropriate for a wide range of people, including those who have an interest in increasing their own understanding of mental health issues. It would complement study in other areas such as citizenship, PSHE, healthcare, social care, counselling or public service. It may be particularly useful for those wanting to work in the voluntary and community sector and for those whose role calls for interaction with the public.
FREE - if you earn less than £16,009.50 or are on a means-tested benefit.
If you are on a higher-income, the government will pay approximately half of your course fees. The cost to you will be £54.00
