To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been a resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in the UK with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).


This introduction explains what Mindfulness is and how to incorporate it into your own life. Through discussions, activities, and guided meditations, you will learn how to be more aware of how to live in the present moment. Mindfulness has been proven to be greatly beneficial for our health, it will help with your own self-esteem, showing you ways of how to relax, having a clearer mind and is significantly beneficial for stress relief. 

What will be covered on the course?  What will be taught to learners? 

  • What Mindfulness is and how to practice it – using a variety of “tools” to help with being mindful, covering the 5 senses – Sight-Taste-Hearing-Touch-Smell, linked to how we use our brains to process and learn. 

You will require: 

  • A drink – water or juice, notebook and pen, a cushion and blanket or wrap, comfortable clothes, laptop with internet on, email open, watch/ clock 
  • 2nd week a RAISIN, and an apple, lemon, banana, orange, or anything you like and can eat
  • 3rd week an object to look at
  • 4th week 4 items to feel / touch such as something - soft /  hard / cold / warm, 5th week selection of containers to hold a cotton wool ball or pad or tissue with a scent on it such as - lemon, vinegar, herb, lavender, orange, coffee etc. 

As this course is online learners will require access to a laptop, smart phone, computer or tablet.  The course will be accessed through Zoom.
