About this course

Join us for this friendly, supportive online course and discover the art of mindful journaling with an emphasis on incorporating  the natural world around us. 

You will learn about what a mindful journal is, the benefits of creating and using your own journal, taking time to reflect and enhance your health and wellbeing, fine motor, communication and socialising skills.  No Prior knowledge is required

The final session of this course takes place  at Sherwood Forest in Edwinstowe.  For the final session you will need clothes suitable for outdoor walking, including a waterproof  jacket and sturdy footwear.

By the end of this course you will know:

  • What mindfulness is. 
  • What a Mindful Journal is  
  • How Mindfulness is viewed in some European Countries 
  • How to incorporate mindfulness into your handwriting, drawing, planning and nature

This is an online course.  You will need a suitable electronic device such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone with internet access. Learners will be required to download and use Zoom (free software). 

You will need:

  • Paper,  journal or note book and a  pen

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

  • Complete the EVENTBRITE BOOKING.
  • Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

You should be redirected to the Inspire Online Enrolment Form after completing the Eventbrite booking.  If you are not redirected, please use the link supplied in the Eventbrite booking confirmation email.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:

  • Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Greater Manchester, Greater London, Liverpool City Region, Tees Valley, West Midlands and West of England.

This course is programmed as part of the Miner2Major Landscape Partnership scheme, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
