About this course

Acrylic pouring is fun and easy. Learn to paint without using a brush or other tools. The best about this technique is that you don’t have to be a talented artist or have great drawing skills. You just need some supplies, a little bit of time and can enjoy creating unique art you will be satisfied about.

What will be covered on the course? What will be taught to learners?

Artist research: Emma Lindstrom & Rinske Douna
Surface and paint preparation
Painting techniques: Dutch pour, dirty cup, flip cup
Varnishing

What will learners achieve by the end of the course?

Learners will know how to prepare the surface, mix and prepare the paints for pouring. They will also learn how to use the hairdryer to manipulate the paint on the surface and how to varnish their paintings.

What skills or knowledge do learners already need to have to attend the course?

None

You will need:

20 x 20cm stretched canvas or canvas board, white acrylic gesso, Titanium white, acrylic paint, nitrile gloves, cover table, a tray, Simply Acrylic pouring medium 750ml by Daler-Rowney , hairdrayer, palette knife, masking tape

As this course is online, a suitable device such as laptop, smart phone, tablet or computer will be required to access the course. Zoom will be used for the live sessions and the link will be sent to you once your enrolment has been completed.
