Our Nature conservation - introduction to foraging course at the Ransomwood Estate, Mansfield, will introduce you to a variety of edible plants that grow wild on Ransomwood Estate, the ethos that drives the management of the site and the identification of common, edible plant species and their uses. The course will also highlight conservation issues associated with foraging and the law behind the protection of our wild flora and fauna.
By the end of this course you will:
You will need clothes suitable for outdoors collecting, including a waterproof jacket and sturdy shoes / boots. You may wish to bring gloves to protect your hands.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
