About this course

Our Sherwood Forest Habitats Nature Walks around Warsop will introduce you to a variety of natural habitats within Sherwood, highlighting plant and animal species associated with sites, management issues and objectives and the improvement of health and well-being through the undertaking of short (4-6 miles), local walks.

Learners will improve their knowledge of local sites of interest and what makes these sites special. They will help to improve their own mental and physical health and develop social skills by interacting with others on the course.

Reasonable fitness and the ability to walk across a variety of habitats within Sherwood is required, along with an understanding of appropriate clothing and items required when undertaking short walks of this nature.

You will need clothes suitable for outdoor walking, including a waterproof  jacket and sturdy walking shoes / boots.

Please bring a drink of water and if required, food.

Please adhere to current  Covid guidelines at the time of the course.
