About this course

Shinrin Yoku is the art of taking in, or bathing in the forest atmosphere.  It has long been recognised as a way to reconnect with nature and to help relax from the stresses and worries of everyday life.

Shinrin Yoku involves mindfulness and encourages us to immerse ourselves in the forest atmosphere, using all our senses.

Join us for  this short 2 session  beginners course in the heart of the Sherwood Forest area to experience and explore  the benefits of Shinrin Yoku for yourself.  Please note, this course does not run  on consecutive weeks, there is a session in June and a further session in July.

Sessions  may involve walking over uneven ground.   Please bring a drink and wear clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor walking and possible inclement weather.

The address for this venue is the Environmental Study Centre, Bestwood Country Park, NG6 8UH. A pay and display car park is in operation at this venue.
