About this course

This course will develop your crafting skills using recycled materials to create Spring themed craft projects.  Projects covered during the course will be paper flowers, butterflies and hearts, paper rolling, jewellery making.  


What will be covered on the course?  What will be taught to learners? 

  • Learners will be able to create a range of paper flowers, book-page projects, paper bowls and paper jewellery. 

What will learners achieve by the end of the course? 

  • Make paper flower 
  • Make butterflies and hearts from old magazines or broken book pages. 
  • Practice Paper rolling 
  • Design own projects. 
  • Make rolled-paper bowls and beads. 
  • Make simple paper jewellery 

You will need:

  • Old magazines, broken books, various recycled paper, pva, glue stick, scissors, pencil, brushes, jewellery findings and pliers, wire, plastic bottles - to discuss at first session

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
