To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

- Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.
You should be redirected to the Inspire Online Enrolment Form after completing the Eventbrite booking. If you are not redirected, please use the link supplied in the Eventbrite booking confirmation email
To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been a resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in the UK with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
This course will enable learners to be more confident about reading and enjoying poetry, providing knowledge and awareness to recognise poetic forms and techniques.
What will be covered on the course? What will be taught to learners?
- How poets turn ideas and inspiration in to a strong piece of writing
- To learn more about styles and forms of poetry
- To understand more about rhyme, rhythm , metre and the structure of a poem
- How to analyse and critique a poem and share opinions with confidence
- How to relax and enjoy some old favourites and look at them in a new way
You will require pens and paper. Learners will be encourage to share poems they like or can remember or half remember.
As this course is online learners will require access to a laptop, smart phone, computer or tablet. The course will be accessed through Zoom.
