In each session we will look at a poem or poems by a different Nottinghamshire poet and use their approach and techniques as a starting point for our own writing. Each session will include time to write with support from the tutor and developmental feedback from each other.
We will develop our poetry writing skills and ideas with inspiration from our context – the places where we belong, emotional and physical. In addition to having space to write in a supportive atmosphere, we will look at how Nottinghamshire poets, past and present have evoked the spirit of Nottinghamshire and the people and places within it.
