This course will enable learners to identify influences on their health and well-being whilst learning how yoga can have a positive effect on the mind and body.
The course will cover: The original Purpose of Yoga, its origins and modern-day perspective, Quality Breathing, the Core - Myth and Fact, Stress and the Autonomic Nervous System and Food and the Body.
The course will include an introduction with context to the session, a main physical practice, relaxation and a short reflection on the theme at the end of each session.
What will learners achieve by the end of the course? What are your learning outcomes?
Learners will identify how modern-day life affects them and learn strategies to improve their health and well-being.
Learners will need to wear comfortable clothing to the sessions and bring a blanket for the relaxation part of the session.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
