Apprenticeships
We offer a growing range of apprenticeships.
When taking part in an apprenticeship, the apprentice will work to a framework of certification, gaining a work-based learning qualification alongside a functional skills qualification and a separate technical certificate.
Our apprenticeships are accredited by City and Guilds, the most well respected awarding body by both industry and commerce in the UK.
We offer:
- Intermediate
Apprenticeships at Level 2 - equivalent to 5 GCSEs.
- Advanced
Apprenticeships at Level 3 - equivalent to 2 A Levels.
Each apprenticeship is made up of:
- a minimum of 30 hours
per week in the work place.
- an ‘off-the-job’
element (delivered either from CLASS premises or at the employer’s site)
building a portfolio of evidence made up of assessors’ observations and
underpinning theory, demonstrating the apprentice’s ability to work
independently to the required standard.

Post-16 Bursary
We pay a bursary to all students. These payments are weighted towards those who face the most challenging financial barriers to taking part in education. All travel cost is refunded and Child Benefit is not affected.
You can enrol at anytime and join our programmes at specialist centres in Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Retford, Ollerton, Eastwood, Stapleford, Newark Library and our newest centre in Hucknall Library.
