Mansfield Central Library
We're always looking to improve your experience. Please send us your feedback.
|Venue||Mansfield Central Library|
Mansfield Central Library are delighted to be hosting a series of dementia friendly screenings of classic films and musicals.
Frozen - Disney animation. When the newly crowned Queen Elsa accidentally uses her power to turn things into ice to curse her home in infinite winter, her sister, Anna, teams up with a mountain man, his playful reindeer, and a snowman to change the weather condition.
Enjoy an afternoon film on the big screen in the welcoming setting of the library’s auditorium. While open to the general public, these screenings are particularly suitable for people living with dementia and memory challenges, their family and friends but anyone is welcome. Please feel free to talk, sing and move during the screening.
Doors will open 20 minutes before the screening and there will be a 20 minute interval. We will be sensitive to the audience when it comes to lighting and volume in the auditorium. A quiet room for anyone needing a brief break from the film will be available just outside the auditorium and toilets including an accessible toilet are also just outside the auditorium door.
Tickets for this screening are on sale from 2 Oct 9am
The auditorium is on the second floor of the building with good lift access but the seating is stepped as shown in the picture and there are 3 wheelchair user tickets available.
Tickets available through the link below or at the Library.
If you have any additional requirements or questions before booking please contact email@example.com
