Are you Grade 4+ or equivalent musician and aged 12-18 year?

We are delighted to have been invited to showcase Nottinghamshire musical talent as part of the Civic Service celebrations at Southwell Minster on Sunday 23rd June and we'd love to fill our Concert Band with local music talent aged 12-18 years.

About Civic Services Sunday

The annual Civic Service marks the start of the Nottinghamshire County Council Chairman's year in office. The musical element will be part of the inauguration ceremony and represents an opportunity for you to perform at an auspicious pubic event.

There will be a rehearsal from 11am at the Minster School on the morning of the event followed by the performance commencing 3pm at Southwell Minster.  

All scores and music will be provided on the day and will be adapted to suit your musical ability.


Plan of Day

11am The Minster School, Nottingham Road, Southwell

- Rehearsal with Inspire Music Concert Band until lunchtime

Please bring your own packed lunch and drinks.

After lunch, move to Southwell Minster for set up / further rehearsal 

3pm Civic Service, Southwell Minster, including performances by Inspire Music Concert Band

4.30pm Finish (approx.)
