Newark Book Festival is a two day literary festival that aims to celebrate books, literacy and the word through an exciting programme that welcomes a range of guest authors, speakers, workshops and children's activities to venues across the historical town of Newark, Nottinghamshire.
Fire your imaginations as you listen, shop and explore author panel events, interviews with inspiring authors, a ship of stories, the literature quarter, pop up storytelling, illustration, celebrate Nottinghamshire's culture, music, cake, coffee, wine and words. The Inspire Heritage team will be setting their stall up in the Market Place on the Saturday to promote the range of services, and offer the chance to buy pre-loved and new books on Nottinghamshire themes.
