Inspired by the 50th anniversary of the first moon landings, this year’s Challenge invites children to help futuristic family, The Rockets, on an intergalactic adventure to retrieve missing library books. Children read six library books, collecting rewards along the way to complete their mission.
Summer Reading Challenge can help avoid the potential dip in reading levels over
the long summer break and provides free fun for 4 – 11 year olds.
Inspire would love help from schools to encourage children to sign up to the Summer Reading Challenge this year. There are resources available below to support schools to promote the Challenge ahead of the summer holidays.
