Worksop Library Fun Palace 2025

Worksop Library will join hundreds of Fun Palaces nationally and internationally set to explode with FREE and FUN activities for all!

Come along and be part of the the fun as you try out different arts, science, music and cultural activities aimed at anyone of any age. 

We'll be welcoming local community groups and organisations into the library space, including:

• ABL Health - Take a ride on the smoothie bike.
• Aurora Centre - See heritage/vintage toys and other artefacts and join in with some colouring.
• BCVS 
• From the Heart Charity - Take part in crafts.
• Nottinghamshire County Council Flood Awareness - Check flood risks in the Augmented Reality Sandbox. It rains indoors!
• Girl Guiding
• Harley Gallery
• Ignite Futures - Try out amazing science busking tricks
• Mr Straw's House National Trust  and Clumber Park National Trust - Get stuck into a range of crafts on the theme of Enjoying the Outdoors.
• Now Church at Langold - Have a go at autumn themed crafts and sensory play.
• Oasis Community Centre - Take part in nature themed crafts.
• UK Atomic Energy Authority - Meet the robot dog and try out the giant plasma ball.
• Veolia Nottinghamshire - Play the Wheel of Fortune Recycling Game.
• Worksop Police Cadets

• Virtual Reality Library - Grab a headset and be amazed by 7 thrilling virtual reality experiences.
• I Am An Artist - View the exhibition in the Worksop Library Gallery and unlock your inner artist at the Art Station with freelance artist Dan Donovan.
• Little Creatives - For under 5s, let your little one unleash their creative imagination with artist Dawn Taylor.
• Play Giant Games and build with Big Bricks
• Make a badge at the Badge Making Station
• Live music from the Red Hot Band
