About this course

Have you ever fancied being an Artist, or maybe in was once a passion that needs reviving?

On this course you will learn how to draw, paint, and use Mixed Media to produce pieces of Art. You will learn the basics of art history, and the importance of Art within the world around us. You will learn how to produce a sketchbook/portfolio, and how to develop your artistic skills for future goals.

On this course you will first cover mark making, leading into shading, portraits and landscapes. We will explore a range of media, with freedom within your course to develop work with your preferred materials. This course breaks down art into easy steps to create your own art pieces, that you can keep, sell or gift. This course will give you the skills to be a reflective practitioner through an Independent Learning Plan and the skills to critique your own work to enhance your skills and confidence in creating independently.
