By train
Nottinghamshire Archives is a five-minute walk from Nottingham Train Station. From the Station, turn right onto Carrington Street. Cross Carrington Street at the zebra crossing and turn left along the canal towpath (passing the Magistrates Court).
The path forks opposite the old British Waterways warehouse, take the left-hand path leading away from the canal. Nottinghamshire Archives is immediately on the left. For more information visit National Rail Enquiries or East Midlands Trains.

By bus
Alight at Carrington Street (outside Nottingham station) or Broadmarsh Shopping Centre and follow the walking directions from Nottingham Train Station or from the city centre. For information about travelling by bus in Nottingham visit Nottingham City Transport, Trent Barton Buses or YourBus.
By car (from city centre)
From Maid Marian Way follow the one-way system onto Greyfriar Gate and Castle Boulevard. At the traffic lights after the canal bridge turn left onto Castle Meadow Road. Immediately turn left into our car park. Please note the entrance is concealed from the road; you have gone too far if you reach the small island.

On foot (from city centre)
From Broadmarsh Bus Station and Nottingham Central Library, cross Canal Street onto Carrington Street. Walk across the bridge over the canal, then turn right onto the canal towpath (passing the Magistrates Court).

We have a small car park and spaces are limited. Visitors must pre-book a parking space, including accessible spaces for blue badge holders, by calling 0115 958 1634 or emailing archives@inspireculture.org.uk
Parking for bicycles is available outside our main entrance.
