Have lockdowns left you feeling a bit isolated, lonely, or cut off from your community? If you'd like to reconnect and make some new friends - or just have a friendly chat with someone new - drop down to your local library.
We're joining the national Places of Welcome initiative, helping to provide a network of community venues where anyone can go to find a friendly face for a cup of tea and a chat.
Inspire volunteers will be on hand, hosting weekly sessions that provide a social meeting place for those who may live alone or feel isolated, are new to the area or have little opportunity to meet other people in their neighbourhood. It’s somewhere everyone is welcome.
Sessions will be running in a number of Inspire libraries:
