We're proud to celebrate pur continued success in delivering high-quality education across Nottinghamshire, as reflected in the recently released National Achievement Rates for the 2023/24 academic year, published by the Department for Education.

The figures show that Inspire Learning’s adult education provision is performing exceptionally well—surpassing national benchmarks (by 3.5% at 90.9% against a benchmark of 87.4%) and outperforming a range of other education providers across the region. With achievement rates for adult learners exceeding both the national average and those of several neighbouring colleges and local authorities, Inspire Learning is reaffirming its commitment to lifelong learning and community impact.

While the achievement rates for 16 to 18-year-old learners fall slightly below the national and General FE College averages (at 78.9% for Nottinghamshire County Council’s Inspire Learning against a national benchmark of 82.9% and an FE College benchmark of 83.4%), Nottinghamshire County Council’s Inspire Learning is still outperforming several comparable regional providers. This progress demonstrates Nottinghamshire County Council’s Inspire Learning’s ongoing efforts to improve outcomes for younger learners and invest in their future success.

“We’re pleased with the progress we’ve made, particularly in adult learning where our performance places us ahead of many of our peers,” said Ian Bond, Director of Learning at Inspire. “There’s always more work to do, especially in supporting our younger learners, but these results reflect the dedication of our staff and the ambition of our learners.”

Inspire Learning remains committed to delivering inclusive, high-quality education for all ages, ensuring every learner is given the opportunity to thrive at every stage of their learning journey. These are amazing results - if you've played your part, thank you!

“I came on the course at a point I thought all hope was lost, and I thought I couldn’t never reach where I am today. Inspire Learning have helped me such a long way. They helped me build my confidence and the teachers have been amazing. I can now go to university, it’s a great achievement for me.”
