Hosted by former BBC journalist John Hess, who has compered the event since 2016 with Christmas jumper-based showmanship, the concert on 8 December will bring together five hundred young singers on stage to celebrate the start of the festive season with wonderful carols and new arrangements. Performances will include mashups of Christmas carols, traditional classics, pitch battles and A Cappella led by the hub’s Vocal Lead Daniela Smith, who also serves as Musical Director to Vicky McClure’s Our Dementia Choir. Inspire is also delighted to be joined this year by Our Dementia Choir, who will perform two special Christmas medleys in celebration of the event’s tenth year.

"Our annual Christmas concert is a huge highlight of our year at Inspire, and this year is particularly special as we celebrate ten years of our incredible partnership with the Royal Concert Hall and Arc Partnership! This concert gives schools a wonderful platform to share their musical achievements, something we know makes a real difference to young people’s growth and confidence. It’s a celebration of the vibrant musical community in Nottinghamshire we’re proud to champion, and we can’t wait to deliver another spectacular show".
