Spring is in the air - time to get learning!

It’s that time of year… time to get learning! Inspire’s brand new Adult Learning Course Guide is here for spring, and it’s packed with hundreds of free and low-cost courses for adults to study across Nottinghamshire!

You’ll have probably spotted our mini-guide delivered through your letterbox, which contains details of courses in your local area. But if you’d like to travel further afield, or just want to see what else we offer, drop into your local library to pick up a full guide, or view all our courses online. There’s a huge range of subjects available – from recognised qualifications in Maths, IT, science and English, to local history, languages, music and arts and crafts.

Try a brand-new language, rediscover a love of cooking, become an expert bookkeeper, unleash your inner artist, or become a Reiki master: with our friendly, knowledgeable tutors, you’ll enjoy a fun, friendly, high-quality learning experience. Depending on your circumstances, many courses will be free or low-cost, with accredited courses fully funded for those in receipt of certain benefits, so you can try as many as you like. 

If you (or someone you know) are looking to learn the basics of Word and Excel, feel confident online, or want to improve your coding skills, our IT and Digital Skills courses cover a range of topics and levels – from absolute beginner to the more tech savvy. If you live in Bassetlaw, Gedling or Rushcliffe, our FREE Digital and IT skills courses, funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, East Midlands Combined County Authority and UK Government will equip you with the tools you need. If you don't live in one of those areas, don't panic - we've got plenty of courses across Notts to boost your employability, your job prospects and your confidence! Whatever your current skill level, let us help you sharpen your IT knowledge, and gain skills that will help you in work and in life.

If you’ve been thinking you’d like to give yourself a boost at work or even make a complete career change, why not check our accredited courses? These courses aren't just for fun (though they definitely are!), they give you a recognised qualification if you’re looking for work, career change or chance of promotion. All our accredited courses are approved by a professional awarding body and recognised by employers - so if you’re looking to further your skills and knowledge they could be the perfect addition to your CV! From counselling skills to volunteering, mental health awareness, conservation, customer service and more, we've got an amazing variety on offer for you to choose from! 

All our courses can be booked online through our brand-new Learner Hub. Once you've found your perfect course, click the ‘book now’ button and you'll be taken to our new Learner Hub, where you will be asked to create an online account and profile using your email address. After you’ve signed up, all you’ll need to do to book a course from then on is enter your email and password. If you prefer to book by calling Ask Inspire, this process will stay the same.
